When you look back on American history in the 1800s, Thomas Nast was a cartoonist and artist who invented the Tammany Tiger, Republican elephant and the Democratic donkey. He used a narrative in his artwork to convey the truth in what was happening in the current news of the day directed at the common citizen to understand in newspapers.
It posed the greatest threat of the time to Nasts sense of proper function of government and politics.
The semantics of the attack on the Tweed Ring are revealing. Tweed was one of the earliest American politicians to be called a boss. Tweeds Tammany was a pioneering city machine in the sense of being a permanent, all embracing, finely articulated political organization. Ring in the sense of a small band of politicos also had its first widely popular usage in the case of Tweed and his associates.

The similarity between Trump today and Tweed in the 1800s shows how: greed, corruption, racism, election fraud, inflation, Turko-Russian War, tariffs, Chinese Problem and exclusion from America, keep the Niggers down, give the Natives a chance and place them on the reservation, pay down the debt and Foreign Policy.
With Trump we have a demagogue who thinks that hes a king and owns America! He unleashed Elon Musk and DOGE on the American Federal government with a mission to slash federal spending. But Trump has use it go after departments and agencies in which Trump had a grievance with to fire department heads and replace them with Trump loyalists; and fire probationary government employees at random throwing key government departments into chaos with employees fearful of losing their jobs! The DOGE goons from Elon Musks companies and other technology friends were given exclusive access to computer systems and personnel databases that impacted millions people who were served by: Social Security, FBI, CIA, FAA, USAID, HHS, Dept of Ed, CFPB, NIH, SBA, U.S. Forest Service, Energy Department, GSA, Department of Veterans Affairs, CDC, National Weather Service, etc.
When you reflect on whats happening with Donald Trump today with his bold face lies about everything, that he says in his Truth Social media account. The way Trump has silenced the mainstream American news media with lawsuits, pulling funds and the lack of real journalism from so call Conservative outlets that parrot the MAGA PROPAGANDA!
